I dream practically every time I fall asleep. Whether it's a snooze on the couch or a full night in bed, adventures and thoughts are rattling through my imagination. Just to give you an idea of my thrilling ability to dream...
Last night I laid down to take a 20 minute nap. I had a dream/nightmare that included carnivorous killer manatees swimming in my flooded apartment...
My sister Esther and I were there along with a killer bird that came through a broken window (through which the manitees also must have come). Josh tried to be a conquering hero, naturally, but we didn't stand a chance... so much for a peaceful nap on the couch.
This sort of dream is not uncommon for me. Josh and I frequently wake up to me recalling an adventure we were one, often at great lengths. I keep him entertained.
FYI: Manatees are herbivores.
sounds like my kind of dream... although mine generally travel around to different locations and themes. i try to tell dave about them, but he generally gets that glazed over look about 2 minutes into it. oh well.
ReplyDeleteI was attacked by killer manatees once. And by "killer" I mean "probably terrified of me." And by "manatees" I mean roaches. And by "roaches" I mean one. And by "one" I mean a tiny baby you could barely see. So I'm pretty sure we're the same. Good luck with your killer attack manatees. Don't feed them after midnight.
ReplyDeleteRachel - yes, I do know the glazed look... especially when I wake him up at two in the morning either whimpering or laughing
ReplyDeleteAmber - that sound's just as bad if not worse since it's more likely to come true... maybe i should feed ME after midnight. sheesh!
